Baltimore MD.... A great show again

Once again, Baltimore Bird Fanciers put on another great show. 51 birds were there and we had a GREAT time! K&L placed quite a few birds including

Pearl Pied - 3rd in Show (Redmond)
Wf Cinnamon- 4th in Show (Little Goose)
Pearl - 8th in Show (Bud)
Cinnamon - Co 2nd Grandchampion Class (Hot Lips)

Thanks to all who made this show possible. We had a great time! Our birds are now off to the New Hampshire Show!

Preparing for the Fall show season

Thought I'd show you some pics of my show birds getting ready for show. They normally just sit there and wait to go into molts while I sit and stress. Its a perfect combination

Cleveland, TN Show

K&L Aviary literally travelled over the mountains and through the hills to Cleveland, TN for their first ever DUAL show. We placed two birds on the bench the first show and one grandchampion. And we placed three birds on the bench the second day!

DHB's babies both placed with our normal hen going third best in show! Her sister also placed.

We placed a lovely bird bought from Phil Feret at Calico Cockatiels . He's a great looking pearl pied pictured to the left. Thanks Phil for supplying K&L with such top bench winning stock!
