Rhode Island a SUCCESS!

Congratulations goes out to NECBE for putting on such a wonderful show. Despite my traveling nightmares, I ended up at the show hall 30 minutes before showing. No suitcase in site (I'm still not sure where that suitcase is as it was lost again!) but ready for a show!

K&L placed three birds on the top bench! We are proud to announce that DHB, our Normal/pearl has lived up to his hype. Two babies (one almost yearling normal and a pearl 2006 baby) managed to make it up to the top bench. We went 2nd in Show with "Awesome" our 18R (Ree Maple) cock. Thanks to all who made this an enjoyable trip. It was nice to meet new people and see old faces alike! I'll be posting pictures of the show soon. On the road again...

Well, its time for K&L Aviary to get on the road for the fall show season. This year, we are prospecting out several venues. We show cockatiels, parrotlets, Jardines, lineolated parakeets, and turquosine parakeets!

August:

Rhode Island (here we COME!)

Sept:

Montgomery, AL - I will have birds for sale in my room. Please inquire when you see me.
Tennessee (they have two, we'll go to at least one)

October

Baltimore, MD
New Hampshire

November:

Georgia Cage Bird (ACS and NCS shows!)
The NATIONALS!

Then there may be a few more shows, we'll just have to see how much time we have.
